I was commissioned by Soup Co. to design and animate the title and end credits for 'Flying Dream 1', the new documentary by British band Elbow. It follows the story of Elbow’s ninth studio album, recorded during lockdown at Brighton’s Theatre Royal in 2021.
Guy on ‘Flying Dream 1’: “Just nine months on I look back at our time at the Theatre Royal Brighton as the happiest recording experience of our lives. We're so proud of this record and it's my personal favourite of the nine so far. It was a truly magical experience.”

I wanted these credits to feel like accompaniment for the music, allowing the spectator to stay immersed in the film. I experimented with some variations on a classic design and staggered animations. The words play gently with the instruments, softly joining the end of the flying dream.
